Eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, meats, and fish.

Diet may seem unrelated to your hair, but it makes a huge difference. Diet also has the added benefit of improving your body at the same time.

Since hair is made of protein, make sure you're getting plenty of protein in your diet.

Some proteins to consider incorporating into your diets;

lean meats such as chicken and turkey, fish, eggs, soy products, beans, and nuts. These foods will help promote healthy keratin production, which are the building blocks of hair.

Good luck.

Don't eat "canned" green peas, worked for me, I'm so hairy, people get out of the pool when I jump in, thinking there's an ape in the pool.

Oh and I was told that when I was 17, and I'm now 59, can you imagine how much more I've blossomed. LOL

It does make sense! I have a bit of advice for you....if you ever have to go to the hospital, shave your arms first....or you'll get a free waxing!

To plan how long it will take, know that the average rate for hair growth is 1/2 inch per month. This rate will vary depending on factors from genetics, environment and current lifestyle. These are not in order of precedence as it's been said that, "Genetics load the gun but your lifestyle pulls the trigger." So starting with overall healthy lifestyle is key. Eat plenty of fibrous veggies, quality protein(both local when possible) and keep the junk food in moderation. Be active and outside as much as possible. Overall hygiene is important as a clean scalp is best for growing hair.

Once you have the basics covered then you can look at things that will build off of them. Massaging your scalp helps get blood their which will feed the follicles allowing them to grow healthier hair faster (think of a farmer watering his crops) 10-15 mins every other day should do it. Reducing stress is important. You've probably heard of cortisol (the stress hormone) as it's been buzzing around social media for a while. A proper exercise program should help with this, but if you feel stress is out of control it will tax the systems of your body in many ways and hair loss is a common result. Look to activities that you enjoy and help you feel peaceful (walking, reading and meditation are popular choices).

Building off of that you can look at treatments and vitamins designed to help. HairXT100 has shown to be very successful in helping thousands grow thicker healthier hair and combating hair loss. Its an all natural blend of vitamins, minerals and herb designed to nourish your scalp have the healthiest follicles (Back to the farmer analogy. Think watering fertile topsoil instead of a more sandy landscape)There are drugs out there that will help, but remember that they are foreign to the inner working of your body and if you are going to use them, they should be used as a short term band aid in conjunction with the above mentioned protocol to start the hair growing process at its roots (pun intended.) Hope this helps!

First of all, the most which hair can grow is just 1/2 inch per month. Moreover, there are several factors which also impact the growth rate of your hair such as genetic factors as well as the well-being and health in general. To have the best result, we sould replace hair cosmetics by using natural ingredients that are easily to apply at home. They are:

1. Egg, Yogurt and Mayonnaise

2. Onion Juice and Honey

3. Coconut Oil and Lemon Juice

4. Aloe Vera

5. Banana

Applying Castor Oil to your scalp is supposed to be excellent for growing thick long hair. It is quite thick so mixing it down with another oil is usually recommended..

If your going bald like me and willing to try supplements much stronger, "DHT Blockers" apparently do the trick.
