What does Occupational Therapy mean?

I've heard of physical therapy and occupational therapy. Is there a difference between the two? If so, what classifies one as physical therapy and the other as occupational?

By definition, physical therapy: The treatment of disease, injury, or deformity by physical methods such as massage, heat treatment, and exercise rather than by drugs or surgery.

Occupational therapy: A form of therapy for those recuperating from physical or mental illness that encourages rehabilitation through the performance of activities required in daily life.

Both therapies are used individually or in conjunction with one another to help people with functioning and movement.
